Narrative for photos 41 - 51:
I talked the FAC into taking me up north one day to take pictures of the DMZ and the big North Vietnamese flag on their side of the Ben Hai River. I didn't have to talk very hard. It would probably be his last chance also.

Narrative for photos 52 - 67:
After closing out the FOB at Mai Loc, we returned to Nha Trang for the last stand down. We had the word. The longest lived of the Special "Greek" Projects was going to be disbanded. It was a sad time for many of us. Some guys had spent years in B-52 and it was like a second home. The war was ending for the U.S. We knew the South Viet Namese didn't stand a chance without us to help them. What good was all that money spent, blood shed, and years of toil for,? if we were going to throw them to the wolves.
